Technical Specifications

• Required available RAM: 45MB
• Required disk space: 1.5MB for the installed application, plus space for logfiles. The download with the installer is an approximately 3MB zipped file.
• Compatible Operating Systems: Windows XP, Windows 2000
• Recommended web browser: Internet Explorer 5+
• Other compatible web browsers: Mozilla, Firefox, Netscape users will likely need this plug-in to be able to open Web Archive(mht) files. Note: This plugin does not yet work with the beta version of Netscape 8.0.
• Logfile: The test log is built automatically as a “low-priority” background process to avoid interfering with other applications and minimize the use of RAM.

The test log MHTML file type (an archive web file with .mht extension) is recognized by Internet Explorer and the other browsers listed above. Unlike .htm, it store all images and text in a single file to make it convenient to email and attach.
